Reading the guides

You can read our guides without creating an account or submitting personal details. The current movie-guide app does not include advertising or audience analytics tools.

The search box inside a guide filters content in your browser. RakNow does not send those search terms to a search service.

Your display preference

When you choose light or dark mode, we save that choice in your browser’s local storage under the name “theme”. It stays on your device until you change it or clear the site’s browser data, and the app does not send it to our server.

You can remove this preference through your browser’s site-data settings. If no preference is saved, the site follows your device’s display setting.

Page requests and hosting

When you visit, your browser sends technical information needed to deliver the website, including your IP address, requested address, and browser information. Our hosting and delivery providers may keep request logs to operate the site, diagnose errors, and protect it from abuse.

Optional trailers and external links

Opening a trailer loads a YouTube player using its privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. The player is only loaded after you select the trailer button. Once loaded, your browser connects to YouTube, which can receive technical information and process data under Google’s Privacy Policy.

You can read the guides without opening a trailer. Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message so we can respond. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.

We’ll update this page when the site’s data practices change, including if we introduce analytics, advertising, or features that ask you for personal information.
